second caller advised both airbags deployed.
One occupant was bruised up. Ambulance
transported one to the Milford Hospital.

7:56 pm An alert neighbor in Pinecrest Village reported activity in a recently vacated unit. Responding units introduced themselves to the new owners.
9:43 am Homeowners at Connelly Hill Road and Valleywood Road both reported vandalism.
Friday, January 27, 2012 11:50 pm A caller thought it unusual that a tall man was standing on the side of Cedar Street. John Moran located the individual on Grove Street and gave him a ride home.
8:21 pm A caller thought it suspicious that people walking on Wilson Street were ducking onto the woods. Responding officers were told by the family out walking that they were just moving to the side of the roadway when they saw headlights.
12:44 pm Officer David Shane spoke with a Frankland Road homeowner who reported that his mailbox had been vandalized the previous evening.
8:24 am A business on Lumber Street reported a man wearing a yellow raincoat was in the woods across the street. Officer Gregg DeBoer was unable to locate the person.
5:45 am Lt. Falvey of Milford requested backup for a vehicle he stopped for refusing to obey barricades at the scene of an accident from earlier. Responding officers arrested the individual for driving with no license.
12:36 am A caller reported a car vs pole on East Main Street. The operator was arrested for OUI Liquor and that portion of the roadway was closed until noon.
Thursday, January 26, 2012 8:58 pm A Wood Street motorist reported that an individual in a parked dump truck fired a fireworks projectile at his vehicle.
7:51 pm While assisting a constable with a motor vehicle repossession on Ash Street, Officer Gregg DeBoer reported being assaulted and requested backup. As a result, a 67year-old woman was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Resisting Arrest.

Tuesday, January 24, 2012 5:54 pm A struck and killed deer was removed from the Cedar Street roadway by a passerby following several calls to the station and a report from the driver who struck it.

Sunday, January 22, 2012 11:48 am Officer David Shane checking on a noise complaint. A West Main Street resident has been hearing a low droning noise. The responding officer could not locate the source.
2:43 am Attendant called regarding two women reporting that they were robbed by a black male, wearing a black jacket with red writing, mini afro, about 6'5". Vehicle last seen heading west on West Main Street. Medway located the vehicle, occupied by 5. They held them for a show up by Hopkinton. Subsequently, two Millis teens were arrested and charged with kidnapping and other offenses.

4:35 pm Units assisted with a two vehicle accident on Fruit Street. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

2:47 pm A Hayden Rowe Street individual spoke with Officer Philip Powers regarding a larceny.
Thursday, January 19, 2012 11:32 pm A caller reports banging noises in the former liquor store on Main Street. Responding officers could not locate the source of the noises.
5:21 pm An individual reported that a business on West Main Street has its door open and it appeared to have no one inside. After checking the business, Officer Gregg DeBoer located the owner inside.
Wednesday, January 18, 2012 4:46 pm A Connelly Hill Road Homeowner reports her daughter's phone has been hacked.
3:47 pm A Hillcrest Drive resident was advised that there was a warrant for her arrest and was also advised to come to the station where she was booked and picked up by the Hudson Police Department.
1:32 pm Three units responded to a possible domestic violence incident on Pleasant Street it was determined to be a verbal conflict only.
8:41 am Officer Stephen Buckley spoke with an Ash Street resident who reported a vehicle went through the school bus lights and almost struck her son.

Monday, January 16, 2012 11:26 pm Caller reports multiple vehicles stopped and stuck on the West Main Street hill because of ice. The DPW will respond to assist.
10:06 pm Caller spoke with Sergeant vanRaalten regarding an unknown vehicle has hit the flashing No U-Turn sign on West Main Street just west of 92 at the start of the divided highway. Area was checked. State Police and Upton Police Department were advised.
8:17 am An East Main street caller reported an erratic operator passing cars and operating aggressively. Information passed to the Ashland Police Department. The reporting party came into the station with photographic evidence of the aggressive operation.

8:00 pm A Blueberry Lane caller reported that someone set off a firecracker in their yard.
7:38 pm A Frankland Road caller reported her backyard ice rink is leaking onto the road. Sgt. Michael Sutton reports it should be okay with some cones he set.
3:50 am Several units, the DPW Art's Towing and an ambulance all responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cedar Street on black ice in which the operator reported she is injured and bleeding. She refused treatment and her damaged vehicle was towed.
Saturday, January 14, 2012 10:36 pm A Joseph Road caller reports hearing a loud bang and then seeing flashlights in the woods. Sgt. Scott vanRaalten responded and found no suspicious activity.
9:43 pm Ashland Police Department arrested a Davis Road resident for suspected shoplifting in their town.
9:44 pm A Blueberry Lane caller reported someone banging on their front door, and then the barking of a neighbor's dog. Officer Matthew McNeil came upon five youths who admitted to banging on doors and he ordered them to return to their homes.
10:46 pm A 911 caller reported a deer with a broken leg limping on Maria Lane, but all units were tied up and unable to assist the deer.
12:25 am A Hayden Rowe Street caller was convinced that someone was shining a bright light in her windows, but Officer Linda Higgins reports it is strong wind that is moving tree limbs and activating motion sensor lights. 5:18 pm 2 callers stated that they heard 5-6 gun shots in the woods. Officer Peter Booth spoke to both reporting parties and checked the area with Officer Stephen Buckley. Negative findings.
10:34 am Officer Stephen Buckley advised that the low hanging Verizon line on Spring Street is still there, and has been for 4 days. Verizon hotline said that they will contact the dispatch center.
12:44 am Sadie Lane caller reports two vehicles in front of his home. He believes they are acting suspicious. Officer Linda Higgins checked with the three teen boys, who said that they were supposed to meet friends who did not arrive, they were sent on their way.
Saturday, January 7, 2012 9:18 pm Officer Aaron O'Neil was off at the wildlife sanctuary on Clinton Street checking two vehicles and requested another cruiser for back up.
7:13 pm Officer Aaron O'Neil spoke with two females who were observed on closed circuit television in the police department parking lot, resolving a minor family issue.
1:49 pm A Cedar Street caller reports that a party just physically struck his car with a fist or hand while he was passing them. Hopkinton and Ashland units responded and were unable to locate the responsible party.
1:29 pm Cole Drive resident walk in brought some possible narcotic paraphernalia to the station that she found in her backyard.
10:15 am A resident of Tammer Lane walk in to see an officer regarding missing US mail deliveries.
2:12 am Officer Jacob Campbell arrested an individual on Hayden Rowe Street for OUI Liquor.
Friday, January 6, 2012 3:08 pm Several callers reporting their concerns for youths on the ice. Officer Burchard William responded and spoke with and advised them of risks.
2:28 pm An individual in Arizona claiming that his former in-law is harrasing him, was advised by Officer Thomas Griffin to speak with his local authorities first.
1:12 pm A Hayden Rowe Street caller reported that a vehicle hit their vehicle and did not stop. The vehicle was described as a blue Oldsmobile headed north on Grove Street. Responding Officers checked the and were area unable to locate the vehicle. Officer Stephen Buckley will be investigating.
9:45 am An individual walked in to the station to report that a vehicle passed him in a no passing zone and appeared to be driving aggressively. The license plate was passed along to an officer. Prior to the officer contacting the party, she called and reported that the other driver was flashing his high beams at her. Officer Thomas Griffin spoke with all involved and matters were resolved.
9:41 am Officer Timothy Brennan began an investigation of fraud reported to have occurred on South Street.
7:28 am West Main Street caller reported vandalism to the building under construction.
Thursday, January 5, 2012 4:21 PM Several calls for a low hanging wire on Spring Street. Verizon was contacted and units left cones and barricades.
9:10 am Officer Philip Powers responded to a possession of marijuana on Hayden Rowe Street.
12:45 pm Officer Philip Powers responded to verbal abuse toward a student. A verbal warning was given.
9:00 am A minor allegedly in possession of alcohol was given a citation by Officer Philip Powers.
Wednesday, January 4, 2012 11:43 pm Howe Street caller reported a brush fire on the side of the road in Wilson Street. Officer Matthew McNeil located it by the Howe street pumping station in Ashland. The Fire Department was notified.
3:46 pm A caller reported that a vehicle went through a red light on Fruit Street. last seen headed toward Wood Street. Officer Aaron O'Neil was advised.
3:02 pm A Cedar Street resident walk in spoke to Officer Peter Booth in regards to an assault that just took place. Officers will be speaking with those involved.
12:15 pm Officer Gregg DeBoer gave advice to an individual regarding a civil matter.
Tuesday, January 3, 2012 8:52 pm A resident of Pinecrest Village reported a blue Volvo is backed in to a parking space without a plate or inspection sticker. However, a police officer removed the plate in the first place.
6:37 pm Officer William Burchard assisted the Ashland police department with a minor altercation at a restaurant on the town line.
12:36 pm An individual reported illegal dumping.
12:00 pm A NSTAR representative called concerned about vandalism on NSTAR property on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:40 am Individuals reported animal cruelty on Rafferty Road and were encouraged to come fill out statement forms at the station.
11:31 am Call for dogs loose in roadway on Cedar Street, multiple cars stopped to attempt to corral the animals, creating a road hazard. Officer David Shane responded checking the area with a negative find.
1:30 am Fruit Street caller wishing to report harassing phone calls.
Monday, January 2, 2012 8:36 pm Schofield Road caller reports she has some questions regarding her neighbors dogs being left outside all the time. The Animal Control Officer was contacted and will be speaking with the party.

2:40 am A caller reported a loud party on the deck of a Nazneen Circle residence. The host promised to bring the party inside.
2:15 am An individual from the underage party on Nazneen Circle, brought to the station to be united with parents, instead began walking down Main Street and was placed in Protective Custody.
Saturday, December 31, 2011 11:44 pm A caller reported an unauthorized, underage party in the model unit at Nazneen Circle. Two Hopkinton units were tied up on other calls, and so one unit responded, and units from other towns did as well.
11:01 pm Caller on School Street reported ding-dong-ditch by youths who ran across the street.
9:40 pm Units responded to the complaint of lights from a party in the woods off of Joseph Road, but reported they saw only lights from residences through the woods.
8:45 pm Officer Philip Powers removed youths from the steps of St. John's Church following a complaint of loitering.
6:21 pm A caller complained of a man yelling obscenities ion Nancy Lane. Arriving units advised that it was only a heated verbal discussion.
2:40 pm An individual walked into the station to report identity theft.
11:47 am A Main Street business reported an earlier shoplifting incident that was caught on tape. The suspect's plate came back to an Ashland resident.
11:38 am A dog in distress got out of the water on Lake Maspenock before responding units arrived, boat in tow.
9:08 am A Wood Street resident reported illegal dumping on her property, and an individual who was connected to the dumping removed the material.
8:43 am A Wilson Street individual reported overnight property damage.

8:45 pm Sgt. Scott vanRaalten and Officer Peter Booth assisted Ashland Police on East Main Street with a vehicle that refused to stop in their town.
Wednesday, December 28, 2011 11:54 pm A caller reported witnessing a male dragging a female operator out of a Ford Mustang at the gate to the Preserve. Ashland Police eventually caught up with the individuals and said there was no further action necessary.
10:21 pm A passenger fled on foot, and the driver was arrested for OUI following a crash on Alexander Road.
10:00 pm A deer fled the scene of a collision with a vehicle on Clinton Street before police arrived.
12:20 pm A Main Street caller reported that in individual shoplifted, but following a review, it was determined that no theft occurred.
12:52 pm Police closed part of Spring Street for several hours after a fallen tree snapped a pole and rested on wires, blocking the roadway.
9:50 am Officer David Shane spoke with an individual walking a dog on school grounds following a complaint. Dogs are not allowed on school property.
Tuesday, December 27, 2011 7:25 pm A Hayden Rowe Street caller reported opened her door and said something, but units could not find the individual.
1:07 pm Five units responded to the report from a reliable witness that someone who did not belong there just went behind a Grove Street property. Officers surrounded the home and brandished their weapons awaiting a K-9 unit from Ashland. No one was found.

12:24 pm Assisted the Fire Department at Pinecrest Village with an odor investigation.
5:10 am A man walked into the station to report that he had struck and killed a deer on West Main Street. NOTE: It occurred near Whalen Road, where deer often cross.
1:51 am A female received a verbal warning for possession of a small amount of marijuana on Granite Street as well as a ride home at the request of her parents.

12:03 pm After receiving a complaint of heavy smoke coming from the chimney of a Hayward Street residence, Officer Gregg DeBoer spoke with an individual who was burning a rubber raft in his interior wood stove.

8:04 am A Wood Street resident doing a little detective work of her own found an address inside some things that were illegally dumped on her property.
7:21 am A motorist struck a deer on Cedar Street, and the deer fled the scene before the arrival of police.
Thursday, December 22, 2011 10:58 pm A Pinecrest resident reported loud noises from another unit. The noise maker admitted replacing a lock, which required "a couple of hammer blows."
10:13 pm Units responding to DiCarlo Road did not hear the noisy argument that initiated the complaint.
7:23 pm Officer Aaron O'Neil again shut down a Wood Street construction site after complaints of the violation of a town bylaw that requires stoppage at 7:00 pm.
3:40 pm An individual from Church Street complained of fraud.
1:56 am A B Street resident reports ongoing "ding-dong-ditch" at her doorbell.
Wednesday, December 21, 2011 10:02 pm A Wood street caller reports her boyfriend has hit her. Four units responded, and placed the suspect in custody, charged with Domestic Assault and Battery. An on call judge issued a restraining order and the individual was escorted back the property by police to get his vehicle.
3:10 pm Officer Gregg DeBoer took a report of credit card fraud from a Front Street individual.
12:59 pm A Wood Street caller complained that her ex-husband's girlfriend is harassing her.
11:11 am Officers responded to the complaint that there was a disturbance at a Gibbon Road residence. It turned out to be only verbal.
1:03 am A Pinecrest resident said she received an email from the "condo people" warning her that neighbors at a nearby unit are "no good." She asked for a cruiser to check on a vehicle that had been parked for a while visiting that neighbor.

Monday, December 12, 2011 5:26 pm A Hayden Rowe Street resident returned home to find a dump truck in his driveway. The owner was located and the truck was moved.
1:10 pm a Stoney Brook Road resident reported her car broken into and her cell phone taken.

Saturday, December 10, 2011 9:36 pm Officer William Burchard arrested an individual on East Main Street and charged him with OUI Liquor.
4:07 pm Units responded to Cedar Street near Carbone's for a man in camouflage clothing yelling at vehicles. He was transported to the town line.
3:48 pm Officer William Burchard spoke with a Stone Crossing homeowner who feared his home was the target of a possible Breaking and Entering.
11:27 am A Wilson Street resident reported a larceny.
8:57 am A person jogging on Stoney Brook Road said that she was almost attacked by the same dog for the second time.
1:06 am A Pinecrest Road resident complained that her new neighbors were loud and she could hear banging around inside their home. They extended an apology through Officer Jacob Campbell and promised to be less loud.

Wednesday, December 7, 2011 6:04 pm A driver reported a minor hit and run — her mirror was damaged — to Upton Police, who advised visiting Hopkinton to fill a report.
6:12 am Officer John Moran assisted the Middlesex Sheriff's Office on Piazza Lane to serve papers. They took two individuals into custody.
7:36 pm Officer Peter Booth took an individual into custody on Elm Street on warrant charges.
Tuesday, December 6, 2011 6:53 pm A Princeton, Mass resident called to say he got a certified letter from a tow company for towing and storage on a vehicle. However, he gave the vehicle to a charity over a year ago, and the vehicle ended up at Luxury Auto in Bellingham. An owner of that business, according to the police press log today, was involved in an accident on November 19, and the vehicle was towed by that same towing company by request of Hopkinton Police.
12:50 pm Several 911 calls were received from a Winter Street residence regarding a theft from that home.
12:42 pm A Teresa Road individual said he/she is being sued for signing a document they have never seen.
10:38 am A Maple Street resident complained of a motor vehicle break-in where nothing was taken.
6:01 am Officer Linda Higgins checked a Jeep that one resident thought suspicious after the driver told her he was going into the woods. The vehicle was full of hunting gear as well as a hunting video.
12:14 am Officer John Moran arrested an individual on Cedar Street on warrant charges.
6:11 pm Officer Peter Booth placed an individual in custody on Route 495. Officer Aaron O'Neil transported two occupants of that vehicle to Route 109 Mobil in Medway.
Monday, December 5, 2011 5:21 pm A deer fled the scene of a collision with a motor vehicle on East Main Street. The vehicle was able to leave under its own power.

Saturday, November 26, 2011 5:57 A Hidden Brick Road caller reported a teen looking in her home through her glass slider, but was gone upon arrival of officers.
5:17 pm Issued verbal warnings to two people for trespassing at the Fruit Street property.
5:10 pm Officer Matthew McNeil shut down a construction crew working on Fruit Street in violation of the town bylaw.
5:37 pm Units responded to Lumber Street [extension] for a vehicle in the water. The female driver, who swerved to avoid a deer, reported no personal injury. [Ed. note: Accident occurred at narrow dirt causeway that leads to Haven Street in Milford].
5:08 am Officers spoke with an individual who was observed running on Granite Street and was picked up by a vehicle Hayden Rowe Street [Ed. note: Several years ago, a burglar in the Teresa Road neighborhood who stole only small items, confounded police until, acting on a hunch, they followed a jogger to an escape vehicle parked at a Hayden Rowe Street address and captured the suspect].
1:57 am Assisted Southborough Police with a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 that had 7 individuals in the vehicle.
1:08 am Two minors in possession of alcohol on the Loop Road were issued criminal complaints. Relatives picked them up as well as the vehicles.

10:42 pm A caller reported several youths acting suspiciously in their vehicles at the High School. They were sent on their way, and another given a verbal warning for a stop sign violation.
10:37 pm A West Main Street caller complained of several large explosions, which turned to be fireworks, but the source could not be located.
5:32 pm A caller complained of gunshots in the Washington Lane area, but Officer William Burchard did not hear any upon arrival.
1:18 am A Cross Street caller complained of an unusual burning smell at the same time Officer Philip Powers reported the same thing.

10:23 am Officer Stephen Buckley and Detective Timothy Brennan escorted an individual off of the High School property and issued a complaint for trespassing.
7:18 am A Greenwood Road caller reported that someone drove over his lawn, leaving tire tracks, and damaged the telephone/cable box.
3:16 am [A police officer, Linda Higgins] struck a pole on Fruit Street, sending the live primary wire onto the cruiser. Nstar responded as a priority to remove the wire. Also responding were Art's Towing, Officer John Moran, Sgt. John Porter, Lt Charles Wallace and Chief Richard Flannery.

3:16 pm A Knoll Road resident complained of a loud bang.
1:50 pm An 8 year-old on Equestrian Drive hid in the home trying not to leave, but was discovered after police were dispatched.
3:55 am A Lincoln Street resident calling from a neighbor's home where he ran after freeing himself from being tied up, reported that four men (probably Caucasian) wearing hoodies & masks, each armed with a rifle and/or shotgun, broke into his home. They tied up the victim and his mother, took the home phones and stole personal electronics. The only vehicle description is "a van" although it wasn't seen by the victim. One suspect told another to "put the stuff in the van." All units were notified, as well as area towns and State Police, who sent the Crime Services unit.
