Rats and mice are known disease carriers and bring their destruction inside our houses and still I wouldn't stab them to death! So I draw the line at unnecessary violence. As an earlier post stated: there are other options....called fences, coyote urine, hot pepper.... Plus these options work on the other critters that will just fill the void. Everyone loves the rural nature of the town until it becomes inconvenient.
