Man Indicted For Murder In Connection To Death Of Infant Son WOBURN– June 11, 2010 — A Malden man has been indicted in connection with the death of his infant son, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone informed the public today. Geoffrey Wilson, 31, was indicted yesterday by a Middlesex Grand Jury on charges of first degree murder.
He will be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in “We allege that the defendant’s violent actions caused the death of his helpless, infant son,” District Attorney Leone said. “This office speaks on behalf of victims without voices, including our most vulnerable victims, children, and we will continue to fight for justice on their behalf.”

The State Medical Examiner’s Office (ME) conducted an autopsy on the victim. The ME has ruled the manner of death homicide and the cause of death hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy complicating blunt/shaking injuries of head. These charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The prosecutor assigned to the case is Assistant District Attorney Katharine Folger, Chief of the Middlesex District Attorney’s Child Abuse Unit.
