The Hopkinton Women's Club would like to welcome Jennifer Oseth and
our newest members. The next general meeting of The Hopkinton Women's
Club is scheduled for Monday, February 14th, and will be hosted
at the home of Jane Lockwood,
7 Wyman Lane.
Helpers for this meeting are Jean Brown,
and Sarah Guida. Because the Hopkinton Women's Club supports the
Hopkinton Outreach Program, Project Just Because, and the
the Project Hope Chairwoman, together with Deb Fortin, invited a
representative from each of these organizations to briefly speak to our
group about the services they offer and how The Hopkinton Women's Club
can best assist them.
Following this discussion, the Hopkinton Women's
Club members will make up cookie bags with personalized Valentine's Day
messages for Hopkinton's Seniors and the Serenity House. Project Hope
will be asking for donations of toiletries and business attire for
Looking ahead, the general meeting on Monday, March 14th
will be held beginning at
at the CAA Building on Hayden Rowe Street. Helpers for the March meeting are Jeanne Quaranto,
Flo Brackett and
"Artwork For The Home" is the discussion for this meeting
presented by Michele Litavis of ATL Art Associates. ATL Art Associates
provides artwork and framing for residential environments. They deal in
everything from fine art posters, original oil paintings to cast bronze
sculpture. ATL Art Associates specializes in "family walls" both
historical and modern day, and will handle all of your custom framing
needs. The interesting discussion will illustrate how to hang a picture
as well as organize various types of groupings. Art books from many
different publishers for viewing will be available.
The Hopkinton Woman's Club is not just all meetings! There are
also many FUN outings coordinated by members for social activity. A
group of Hopkinton Women's Club members recently attended Dream
Milford, then lunched together! Some members will be attending the
Flora In Winter Exhibit at the Worcester Art Museum.
Members have also planned to attend the TCAN Players' production of
To Kill A Mockingbird. The Club has made plans for March 10th to
have dinner at Maggiano's and then attend the
performance of Menopause The Musical.
